My Liege and I love to take long walks with Allie McBeagle on the weekends. We’re blessed with amazing views a very short distance from our house. It doesn’t get much better than this!

Thanks, guys. The views are from a provincial park. A lot of the lake is developed (housing) around the mouth, but the views on the left are protected. Very nice.
This was LAST Sunday (Mother’s Day). Yesterday was overcast for much of the day.

Ah, looks like the the pooch was enjoying herself. Too bad about the cactus, there is so much around some of the trails. We had to have our oldest one put under to take out a serious bout, the vet and I worked, each with forceps, and even after that there were still a few spines to be found.
BTW, keep an eye out for ticks if she goes off the trail, they are still out, and with as cool a spring as we’ve had, I’m thinking tick season will run long this year.
