{"id":503,"date":"2008-12-19T09:16:22","date_gmt":"2008-12-19T17:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cindyprocter-king.com\/blog\/?p=503"},"modified":"2008-12-19T09:16:22","modified_gmt":"2008-12-19T17:16:22","slug":"bookends-pitch-critiques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cindyprocter-king.com\/blog\/bookends-pitch-critiques\/","title":{"rendered":"BookEnds Pitch Critiques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Okay, I said I was going on Blogiday, but I&#8217;ve accomplished\u00a0a ton of Christmas stuff the last couple of days, so I have a moment to pass along the news that Jessica Faust of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookends-inc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">BookEnds, LLC<\/a> is taking pitches to\u00a0critique while she&#8217;s on holiday. <a href=\"http:\/\/bookendslitagency.blogspot.com\/2008\/12\/my-gift-to-you.html\" target=\"_blank\">Here&#8217;s the post<\/a> and a blippy from it:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To participate, you\u2019ll need to submit your one-paragraph pitch in the comments section of this post. I will not consider pitches posted in other posts or those e-mailed to me and I certainly won\u2019t take pitches from any query letters I receive. Over the course of the next two weeks I\u2019m going to randomly select and critique (on the blog) as many as I can. Since I\u2019m officially on vacation over the course of these two weeks the posts will truly be random. In other words, I\u2019m going to do whatever I want. I\u2019ll post them whenever I want and I\u2019ll critique anywhere from three to three hundred, depending on my mood.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Pretty nifty, huh?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;m not participating, but whenever I have a spare moment I&#8217;ll be hopping over there to have\u00a0a gander at the pitches and Jessica&#8217;s comments.
