Enough planning the revisions for my single title. I’ve finally dug into them, and I’m loving the results.

  2. I enjoy revising, too, Edie – after a heavily edited first write-through, that is. Revising a barfed out scene isn’t as enjoyable.

    With the edited complete, I can finally see the book as a whole in my mind, so it’s much easier to know what to leave in and what to take out. This revision is about deepening the heroine’s GMC and raising the stakes in the mystery plot. Most of the work will come in the first three chapters. After that, it’ll be smooth sailing (she says to fool herself).
