You’ll love this YouTube Video. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to embed it in this post. It works when I’m writing and previewing the post, but not when I’ve updated the blog. Then all I see is a big box with an X in it. There must be some trick to adding YouTube videos to WordPress blogs that I haven’t mastered. If anybody knows how to do it, let me know!

I found this You Tube video that showed how to add You Tube videos, and I noticed I could still log in to your blog, so I tried the suggested solution, and it worked. The key is to go to the users tab in the WP dashboard, under your profile, and turn off the visual editor when writing if you want to use the ’embed’ code to put a You Tube video in your blog. Obvious, huh?
I don’t have the WISYWIG editor turned on in my blog, so I never had this trouble.
So now we all know…

Thanks! It looks great (I knew there was a reason I liked you!). Yes, after getting this note and your private email, I’m thinking it wasn’t a good idea for me to bounce back and forth between the visual and code editors when trying to imbed the video. I think it’s pretty funny that there’s a YouTube video about installing YouTube videos in WordPress. I’ll check it out.
