You do the math.
I need a blogging break. Nix that. I need an Internet break. I’m beginning with the blog, then weaning myself off Facebook and Twitter. I might even give up obsessively checking email twelve times a day. So if you pop on over here in another few days to see what’s up and discover you can’t even leave a comment, have no despair, I will begin blogging again in June. Closing comments will help me stop logging in to check on spam.
You’ll notice you can still leave a comment today. I’ll close comments tomorrow or Friday.
Tech break! Wish me luck!
You only check your email twelve times a day???
Enjoy your break:-).
Ack. I’m a basketcase if I can’t get online. Well, if you have to disconnect, you have to. Good luck with the tech break and see you in June. =o)
I’ve been re-thinking my online presence too. Good for you!
Thinking about shutting down my blog as well, seeing as I get on it about once a month. Have a good break!
Thanks, everyone. Avery, I’m not shutting down the blog. It’s an easy way to update website news and remain in contact. Not everyone is on Facebook. 😉 I just need a rest. Of course, as soon as I decide that, there are things I want to post to my blog. Well, they’ll just have to wait.
Penny doesn’t have a blog on her site and sometimes I wish she did. I think the key is to remain consistent in posting. If that’s once a week or once a month, so be it. If it’s several times a week, or a few times a week, the blogger gets worn out and needs a break or several weeks in her writing cave.
I have goodies planned for my return!
Have fun on your break! Hope you accomplish a lot. Cheers~
My reaction was the same as Ellen’s! Only 12 times? LOL
Thanks, Nancy.
Natalie, welllll…who’s counting? Sometimes I leave the email program open for hours at a time. IF I’m expecting something important. Otherwise, I shut it down because it distracts me.
