Warning: Could get graphic!
Why, Cindy, why?

I’m still writing the WIP. I do believe I’m in the second-to-last chapter. A couple of days ago, I thought I was in the second-to-last chapter, but now I’m almost certain I am!

I have a chiropractor appointment on Friday, and I. Can’t. Wait.
I just finished rereading an old book, tweaking on the way, in order to write a detailed synopsis for a request by an editor. Last night, in bed, I got an idea to beef up the conflict — but it will mean going through the book again and seeding this new aspect in. Wah! Your cartoon is perfect for me today!
Oh, good, Edie, you’re mired in the same hell as moi. Now I feel a million times better, LOL.
Actually, I’m loving writing the end of this book. But I keep getting stopped up by nasty things like research.
Hang in there!
I so wish I couldn’t relate to this…but I’m right there with ya :). Hang on and keep at it! You can do it, Cindy!
Thanks, Lexi and Marilyn! Wouldn’t it be nice if we could say to hell with research and just get on with it? I try to research whatever I can before I get to a stumbling point. But because I don’t “see” scenes until I’m actually writing them, I always find myself doing last-minute research. This scene involves police elements, and even if I wind up making mistakes, I do try to take all the steps I can to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Luckily, I have some great people answering questions for me today. I’ll write the scene as best I can, then go back and fix later as I learn more.
LOL-oh, dear- *snort* – Have been there and done that! Just when I’m patting myself on the back for getting through it…yep- I get mired down in something else.
*hugs* and thanks for the laugh.
Lesson learned – do not brag about nearly being finished until you type The End, LOL.
